Ralph Klisiewicz

Ralph Klisiewicz

Niche Visuals founder, filmmaker, musician, writer

Before I became a videographer I was a musician and music producer. In fact, I entered into the video production services industry because I was in need of a music video. I produced my first music video and fell in love with filmmaking and the video production process. I love learning new tricks of the trade. When I am not working with clients, I love to watch tutorials on new techniques in cinematography, editing, or visual FX in after effects. Although I no longer have the time for a band (perpetual process) I still love to work on music scores and I see myself composing music for upcoming films. I have directed and produced several short films and I am currently preparing for a feature film likely to be shot in late 24 or early 2025. I have written several feature film scripts and recently I have been taking a jab at writing my first novel - ALGO. When I am not writing, working with any cameras or musical instruments I love to play beach volleyball.

Joel Lopez

Videographer, photographer, musician

I got into creative production when I was a studio musician in my university. From recording in different independent studios, and also recording other musicians and bands, my talent in audio and music brought me interest to start hanging out with photographers and videographers and seeing the magic they were also producing. It was like coloring and creating a whole different picture. The same happened when I would hang out with video editors, seeing how their cuts and edits made simple videos amazing. Once I began being a photographer and videographer, I started seeing my art in their social media, magazines, and other mixed media and made me very proud in bringing their visions to the world. I enjoy watching tutorials and new features for editing and production, as well as new gear to always be up to date in this ever changing creative field. The attention to detail came early on as a musician and I'm thankful it overflowed into now being a videographer and photographer.

Jumel Ola

Jumel Ola, MBA, MPH

In-house marketing director

I have an all-encompassing background in liberal arts, science, healthcare, business, and marketing. I got interested in Niche Visuals because of its powerful storytelling. Having worked as a health educator early in my career, I’ve experienced how targeted video-based interventions can highly improve patient engagement and treatment outcomes. I’m learning to harness the power of video production to give each business a relatable human touch and exhort its target audience to action. When I'm not busy collaborating with a videographer, I provide free career services to fellow USMC veterans. In addition, as an Alumni Chapter Lead for Durham University (UK), I develop strategies to boost alumni engagement. I am also a mentor to Durham MBA students. Most importantly, I am still navigating and learning about dog parenting. My Pomsky provides all the (mis)adventures of a lifetime.

Jonny Drake

Filmmaker, photographer, videographer, sound engineer

I fell in love with the craft of filmmaking during my studies at Columbia College Chicago in the second half of the 2000's, producing and directing short films. I love being on set, whether for corporate video production work or fine art films. For me, it's all about storytelling, regardless of where the work ends up. I started out as a videographer shooting music videos and commercials for small businesses and have been expanding my skill set and portfolio since. I've also been working as an audio engineer for decades, both on location and in the studio. I find sound design to be utterly fascinating, and how it elevates and completes a visual composition, ultimately in service of the story. Currently, I am in pre-production for an original narrative short film, while simultaneously writing a feature length script, as well as composing and producing music and music videos. Filmmaking is the perfect culmination of all my artistic interests.
